There are advanced aspects to Mixbus, but the average user does not need to go there. Mixbus is not hard, most people get running pretty quickly. Mixbus is not a piece of crap, it is a very powerful programme that brings large console functionality and advanced mixing features to an affordable user driven DAW. look in particular at the section on monitoring whilst recording. Is the channel on input, record armed or set to auto input ? If you are trying to get a microphone or live instrument to record to a channel, do you have the mic patched into the channel ? So you are getting audio monitoring but for midi only, is that correct ? Perhaps look at the 'Getting Started' part of the manual. Nothing should be this hard.Well it will be a waste of your money if you don't try.įirstly what audio I/O are you using and what O/S version ? (these things help) I can't get any audio input monitoring outside of midi.
